Chapters 7-8

In chapter 7 it is interesting when David’s mom has a baby they pretend it doesn’t even exist until the certificate is sign. It is interesting how serious a deviation is. Later I am curious to why Aunt Harriet would even come to ask to switch babies. Doesn’t she know David’s father would never approve this. But in this chapter I do like how Aunt Harriet talks to David’s father with no hesitation and very firm. When she says, “I am not ashamed but beaten”. I wonder why Aunt Harriet didn’t just run away with the baby rather then kill her self. In chapter 8 David realizes that he is a “mutant” in a way. It is a good thing his Uncle Axel notice a bit of unrest in David or something very bad could have happened. Also in this chapter we find out about how the one boy went missing because he had an accident and was kill. I wonder if this I completely true. Also in this chapter we learn Uncle Axel doesn’t agree with the definition of man. He thinks it should deal with the mind no the body. Near the end we learn who the other telepathic people are; Michael, Sally, Katherine, Mark, Anne, Rachel, Rosalind, and David. The book also say later they find out there is a 9^th witch will Petra.
